MAC3MEDI SETBACK TURNS POSITIVE

Following recent setbacks experienced by MAC3MEDI in transferring its manufacturing base from China to South Africa, including the collapse of a previously sub-contracted factory a few weeks ago, Andy Winsauer, owner of the brand has announced officially that an agreement has been reached with a new manufacturer being one of South Africa's largest and most respected premium Footwear manufacturers in South Africa to manufacture the new MAC3MEDI footwear.

In a statement issued today, Andy Winsauer had the following to say: " I am extremely pleased to have reached a new agreement with by far the most professional production management team I have dealt with in the last 30 years in the industry.  This company undoubtedly represents the pinnacle in premium footwear manufacture. This includes outstripping many good teams in the past  in China, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan. While uncontrollable circumstances dealt us a sever blow recently delaying our ability to deliver over the past months, with this new arrangement, we are now set to begin delivering highest quality and vastly improved health and wellness MAC3MEDI footwear to the markets around the World again from January 2012 onwards. A carefully analyzed re-development schedule has been established together with the senior management team of our new partners. Extremely important for the continued rapid growth of our brand, is that the manufacturing plant is well placed to deal with growing capacity requirements as the USA market comes on stream early next year."

Our new partners are a member of a financially very strong international Group based in Germany, and owning strong brands in various industries. Besides manufacturing its own brands, they also undertake manufacturing contracts for various leading international sporting footwear brands. Issues and risks often plaguing smaller manufacturers, especially in difficult economic times, are far better managed by strong organizations with highly experienced and down to earth Management professionals.
